League of Legends Fans Express Frustration After Only 430 Worlds Tickets Are Released
Patch 26.1 makes big changes to gameplay, tweaks champions, and speeds up the pace, and LoL fans are furious. Many players have criticised the new season, saying the games are shorter, less strategic, and less rewarding than previous seasons, despite Riot Games adding several updates to improve the overall experience.
League of Legends’ new Season 16 update changed several core systems. Riot changed all of the champions and re-worked some of the gameplay structure to make games go faster. One of the biggest changes is that, each of the 5 roles now has its own quest system where players can earn additional buffs and advantages upon completion of objectives.
Riot also will be removing aging mechanics like Atakhan, Blood Roses and Deeds of Strength. Other gameplay changes include changes to critical hits, the introduction of the Fairy Lights vision mechanic, and improvements to Home Guard, which now allows players to get back into the fight faster after recalling.
