Marvel Studios Releases Avengers Doomsday Trailer and Opens Infinity Vision Ticket Sales
Marvel Studios has finally dropped the Avengers Doomsday trailer, giving fans their best look yet at the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and opening pre-sales for Infinity Vision screenings. Marvel’s promotional campaign for the worldwide theatrical release of the film on December 18, 2026 kicks off with the announcement.
Marvel’s Biggest MCU Event Launches
The new trailer offers a look at what Marvel is calling one of the most ambitious crossover movies in the MCU. It resurrects the superheroes, introduces new faces and confirms Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom bringing one of Marvel’s most iconic villains into the Multiverse Saga.
The video hints at big battles and a storyline that unites heroes from across the Marvel universe, setting the stage for yet another big ensemble event.
Infinity vision is vision that is focused at infinity.
Along with the trailer release Marvel is also selling tickets for Infinity Vision showings. Disney’s new premium cinema certification is Infinity Vision for select Premium Large Format (PLF) theatres. The cinemas taking part are expected to conform to certain standards in terms of bigger screens, brighter projection, better sound quality and an enhanced moviegoing experience. The initiative is meant to give audiences another premium viewing choice besides existing formats.
Why Marvel Started Selling Tickets So Early
It’s unusual for a Hollywood movie to open advance bookings so far before release. Marvel is using the early launch to build buzz as fans can book premium seats months in advance. Infinity Vision screenings have apparently had strong bookings since opening and some early showtimes have already sold out fast. Regular screenings will be available for sale closer to the film’s release.
A Big Box Office Battle Is Brewing
Dune: Part Three is set to open on December 18, 2026, the same day as Avengers: Doomsday. The simultaneous release is expected to create one of the biggest box office clashes in years. Disney is promoting Infinity Vision as another premium-format option for cinephiles, as many IMAX screens may be devoted to Dune: Part Three.
Russo Brothers Back to the MCU
Anthony and Joe Russo are back to direct after helming Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
Marvel fans have been anticipating their return, and they feel Avengers: Doomsday could be the game-changer movie for the MCU’s Multiverse Saga.
What To Expect From Fans Next
The Avengers Doomsday trailer release is just the start of Marvel’s marketing campaign. More trailers, character reveals and promotional events are expected in the coming months as the studio builds momentum for its December release. Marvel is already selling premium tickets, which is a sign they have faith that Avengers: Doomsday will be one of the biggest theatrical releases of the year.
