Chevrolet’s mid-engine Corvette has rewritten the script on how purchasers view the country’s most famous sports car. The C8 had exotic-car proportions, more performance and a full lineup including the Stingray, Z06, E-Ray and ZR1. The Chevy Corvette C9 has yet to be confirmed but anticipation is building as the C8 gets farther into its life cycle. The C8 arrived for the 2020 model year, and major sports-car generations often stick around for about seven to nine years. That timetable has led to predictions of a new Corvette by the end of the decade. Exterior Restyling Next Generation Could Be

Chevrolet may keep selling a gas-powered V8, especially in high-performance vehicles, but with electric assistance to boost acceleration, traction and efficiency.
