Xbox Game Pass Adds Seven New Games This Week Including Several Day One Releases
Xbox Game Pass is adding 7 new games in July 2026, including major titles like Ascend to Zero, Gears of War: Reloaded, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, and The Planet Crafter. Microsoft’s latest update brings a mix of action, sports, survival, racing, horror, and strategy games across Xbox consoles, Cloud, handheld devices, and PC.
Xbox Game Pass July 2026 New Releases
The biggest Game Pass week begins on July 13 with seven new additions arriving across five days.
Ascend to Zero launches on July 13 as a day-one Game Pass title. The action roguelike features a unique time-based gameplay system where players use countdown mechanics and time manipulation abilities during battles. The game has started off well with reviews, with an 83 Metacritic score thanks to its fast progression, build variety and addictive combat.
PlayStation Plus Premium July 2026 Free Game Reportedly Revealed Before Sony’s AnnouncementOn July 14, PBA Pro Bowling 2026 joins the service with realistic bowling physics, licensed PBA players, career progression, and competitive modes. It will be available through Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass.

Denshattack! is a fast-paced, Japanese-inspired action game with trains and trick mechanics. Quarantine Zone is all about survival decisions. Players take control of a checkpoint, search for survivors and defend a settlement during an outbreak.
MAVRIX by Matt Jones arrives on July 16. The downhill biking game features open-world riding, multiplayer challenges, bike customization, and extreme sports gameplay.
July 17: FixForce and Fogpiercer finish off the week. FixForce is a cooperative extraction platformer about fixing abandoned places with robots. Fogpiercer is a PC-only sci-fi roguelike deckbuilder with train management, tactical combat and strategic card combinations.
More July Game Pass Updates
Earlier July additions include Winds of Arcana: Ruination on July 6 and Gears of War: Reloaded on July 9. The Gears remaster features improved visuals, Unreal Engine upgrades, extra campaign content, multiplayer maps, and cosmetic items.
Tamashika also launched on July 9 as a fast-paced arcade shooter focused on speed and survival.
On July 21, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive two major titles: The Planet Crafter, a survival terraforming game, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, the remastered skateboarding collection.
Microsoft is also removing 10 games on July 15, including Dungeons of Hinterberg, EA Sports FC 24, Stellaris, Powerwash Simulator, Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, and Techtonica.
The July 2026 lineup highlights Microsoft’s continued push to expand Game Pass with big franchises, indie releases, and unique gameplay experiences for millions of subscribers.

Techgenyz – Xbox is adding 44 new games from July 13–17, with seven joining Game Pass. New details include Fogpiercer, a PC-only roguelike deckbuilder where players manage a train base and use tactical card battles. The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is a notable non-Game Pass co-op horror release. Upcoming Game Pass additions include The Planet Crafter and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 on July 21. Microsoft also confirmed that 16 games will soon leave Xbox Game Pass.
Choose.TV – Xbox is launching 40+ new games from July 13–17, 2026 across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. New Game Pass highlights include Denshattack!, Fogpiercer, and MAVRIX by Matt Jones. Additional releases include Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, and Moss: The Forgotten Relic. Other upcoming Xbox launches include Beholder: Conductor, War Robots, Streetdog BMX, Wreck Runners, Farlands, and K-pop Idol Stories: Road to Debut.
Eurogamer – Xbox Game Pass added new July 2026 details, including Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 joining Game Pass Premium on July 2 and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 arriving on July 21. Microsoft also renamed Game Pass Core to Xbox Game Pass Essential and Standard to Premium in 2025. Essential now includes online multiplayer and access on both console and PC. The confirmed July lineup includes 12 new Game Pass additions, while several games leave the service on July 15.
