Stardew Valley Magic The Gathering – Magic in Stardew Valley The Gathering Secret Lair drops officially on July 27, bringing the beloved farming game into Magic with three limited-edition Secret Lair drops. Announced during MagicCon Amsterdam 2026, the crossover was designed with input from Stardew Valley creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone and features exclusive pixel artwork inspired by Pelican Town. The collection includes a brand-new Stardew Valley land card alongside themed versions of classic Magic cards, giving fans of both franchises a unique collectible release.

The Superdrop of the Moonlight Jellies includes Welcome to Stardew Valley, Life in Pelican Town, and A Flicker in the Deep. Together they feature farming, friendships, gifts, monsters, and iconic locations from the Ferngill Republic. Most cards are reprints with Stardew Valley-themed names and artwork, while the new Stardew Valley land card introduces an original mechanic. It can tap a creature to create Food tokens, produce colorless mana, and even let players gift one of their permanents to another player in exchange for drawing a card, in line with the game’s signature gift-giving mechanic.
The drops will be available in both foil and non-foil editions and will start at $29.99. Wizards of the Coast is also offering several bundles, including the Grandpa Would Be Proud Everything Bundle, which contains all six versions of the three drops. Buyers of select bundles will receive an exclusive foil Lucky Purple Memento promo card, a Stardew-themed version of Puca’s Mischief.
MagicCon Reveals Bigger Plans for Secret Lair
The Stardew Valley collaboration was one of 13 Secret Lair drops announced during MagicCon Amsterdam. Wizards of the Coast also revealed upcoming collaborations featuring Marvel, The Hobbit, Hatsune Miku, Lofi Girl, and several artist-focused collections. The Stardew Valley crossover highlights how Magic continues expanding its Universes Beyond lineup by partnering with popular entertainment franchises.
Sales begin at 9 a.m. PT on July 27 through the Secret Lair website, while non-foil editions will also reach Wizards Play Network (WPN) game stores at a later date. Secret Lair products are sold in limited runs and previous releases have sold out quickly, so expect demand to be high among collectors and Stardew Valley fans when the collection goes live.
