In Season 4, Ted returns to England to coach a second-division women’s soccer team. This shift allows the writers to introduce new players, fresh challenges and different storylines while bringing back familiar characters such as Rebecca Welton, Roy Kent, Keeley Jones and Coach Beard.
The makers have billed the new season as a fresh start rather than a continuation of the original ending, giving both long-term fans and new viewers a new way to get into the show.
