PS Plus July 2026 Game Catalog Adds Avatar Frontiers of Pandora Dying Light and More

PS Plus July 2026 Game Catalog – Sony has officially announced the PS Plus Game Catalog July 2026 games, with nine new titles coming to PlayStation Plus extra and premium subscribers. The line-up includes big new releases like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Rise of the Ronin and Dying Light, plus two classic games that are only available to Premium members. The new games will be released in a staggered rollout, with some titles coming out earlier in the US, UK and Japan, and the full slate coming out globally on July 21, 2026.

PS Plus Game Catalog Additions and Release Schedule – July 2026

The biggest new title to land on the PS5 this month is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Ubisoft’s open-world action-adventure game set in Pandora’s Western Frontier. Players take the role of a Na’vi warrior who must reconnect with their heritage and defend Pandora from the RDA. The game will be available globally on July 21.

Another major title joining the catalog is Rise of the Ronin (PS5) from Team Ninja, the studio behind Nioh and Ninja Gaiden. Set in 19th-century Japan during the Boshin War, the action RPG allows players to make choices that influence the story and Japan’s future. It launched early on July 15 in the US and UK, followed by Japan on July 16.

The July lineup also includes Firefighting Simulator: Ignite (PS5) on July 21, where players fight realistic fires and rescue civilians using Unreal Engine 5-powered visuals. On July 28, subscribers will receive Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, Dying Light, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, and Snow Bros. Wonderland in the US, UK, and Japan.

Impact on PlayStation Subscribers and Premium Members

The new additions expand Sony’s growing game library for Extra and Premium subscribers, giving players access to different genres, including open-world adventures, RPGs, survival horror, simulation, and classic action games. Unlike PlayStation Plus Essential titles, Game Catalog games can be played anytime while they remain available on the service.

Premium subscribers will receive two additional classics: Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy, both arriving on July 21. This marks a change from recent months when Sony often added only one classic title to the Premium Classics Catalog.

Also dropping with July’s lineup are the Essential monthly games Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For The King II, and CrossCode, which stay until August 3. Sony is upping the ante in its competition with subscription services such as Xbox Game Pass, and giving millions of PlayStation users more options to explore — with nine total additions across the Extra and Premium tiers.
