Pokémon TCG Pitch Black Booster Bundle Is Back in Stock at a Price Lower Than Expected

Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Pitch Black Booster Bundle pre-order is back up again on Amazon in a big availability update before its official release date of July 17, 2026. With the highly anticipated expansion now available for preorder at $57.92, collectors can get packs before the demand rises and the stock drops.

Amazon Pitch Black Deal and Collector Pricing Details

The Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Pitch Black Booster Bundle includes six booster packs and is currently listed below recent resale market prices. Amazon’s $57.92 preorder price is around 17% lower than its previous listed price of $69.96, making it a better option compared with third-party sellers charging close to $70.

But the deal still comes in well above the original M.S.R.P. The original price for the Booster Bundle was $30, so the current Amazon price is almost a 93% markup! Each booster pack will be around $9.65, and collectors purchasing on resale platforms could pay even more.

Amazon is also offering preorder price protection, so if the price drops before release, buyers will receive the lowest eligible price. We don’t charge customers until the product ships, giving collectors more flexibility before launch.

The upcoming Pitch Black expansion is expected to become one of the most popular Mega Evolution sets of 2026. The darker-themed collection features more than 115 cards and includes several highly requested Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards.

Confirmed Pokémon include Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex, and Mega Excadrill ex. Mega Darkrai ex is likely to be one of the biggest chase cards thanks to its powerful ability and fan popularity.

Pitch Black Purchase Tips and Availability Issues

As Pokémon TCG products sell out quickly, collectors are getting a head start on preparing for the Pitch Black launch. Earlier expansions have come with limited stock, higher resale prices and strong demand from players and collectors alike.

Pokémon Center has also begun taking preorders at official retail prices, but many shoppers have had to wait in long virtual lines amid heavy traffic. Anti-bot protections are in place on the website, so users should be wary of repeated refreshing, multiple devices, and unusual checkout activity.

Those hoping to get their hands on Pitch Black products should be checking multiple retailers ahead of the release date. Stores may get more inventory or surprise restocks even when they have sold-out signs.

Another opportunity may come through Build & Battle events at local card shops, which should start in early July. These events provide players an opportunity to obtain booster packs and special promotional cards before the official release date.

The arrival of Pitch Black comes as Pokémon fans are already preparing for the upcoming Pokémon 30th Anniversary collection, which is expected to create even more competition for limited products.

If you are a collector who wants to open packs or get chase cards like Mega Darkrai ex, buying them early from official retailers may save you some money by avoiding the inflated resale prices that come later. While Amazon’s preorder deal is still above MSRP, it currently offers a safer option compared with inflated market listings.
