Fortnite Servers Are Offline for Update 41.30 as The Simpsons Content Arrives
Fortnite v41.30 update drops July 30th as the last major patch for Chapter 7 Season 3, featuring a Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossover, Simpsons-themed Springfield Reload map, new Sprites, Festival Season 15, and new quests. The update comes after scheduled server maintenance and delivers one of the biggest content drops of the season.

One of the biggest additions is Springfield Reload, a cel-shaded version of The Simpsons’ iconic town built specifically for Fortnite Reload. The map keeps the mode’s 50-player format while introducing new gameplay features. A major highlight is The Confidential, a special point of interest where combat is disabled, passive healing is active, and proximity voice chat lets squads regroup before heading back into battle. Players who attack inside the zone become “Excommunicado,” gaining unlimited stamina and faster reload speed while becoming a target for everyone else.
Epic Games is also adding a Simpsonified John Wick skin that can be unlocked by Battle Pass owners who complete Fortnite Reload quests. The skin will not initially be available through the Item Shop. A new John Wick Sprite also joins the update, revealing nearby enemy locations after a knock or elimination to help teams during Reload matches.
Spider-Man, New Sprites, and Festival Season 15
The update officially launches the Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossover, bringing new cosmetics inspired by Spider-Man and Punisher. Epic has also confirmed that the Web-Shooters Mythic returns during a special Power Hour event on August 1, giving players another chance to use the popular mobility item.
Three new Sprites have been added to Fortnite’s gameplay mechanics, Llama, Peely, and Quack Zero Point. The update also adds an additional Sprite Mastery page so you can track your collection progress, and the Lucky Locator Gizmo, a device that helps you find uncollected Sprites hidden inside special chests. Meanwhile, Lil Tecca becomes the headliner for Fortnite Festival Season 15 with new Icon cosmetics, Jam Tracks, a Music Pass, and a refreshed Main Stage.
The v41.30 update also adds new Weekly, Story, and Hot Bat Summer quests, giving players one of the final opportunities to earn XP and complete the Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass before the season comes to a close.

Eliminating an Excommunicado player rewards bonus Gold and improved loot.
Softonic – Epic also confirmed that The Simpsons will join Fortnite’s IP Partner Program later this year. This means creators will be able to build and publish their own Simpsons-themed Fortnite experiences, expanding the collaboration beyond the official Springfield Reload event.
