Porsche Builds a One of a Kind Taycan Turbo GT for a Swiss Collector
Porsche Taycan Turbo GT Sonderwunsch has become one of the most customized electric Porsche models ever created after a Swiss customer received his unique one-off vehicle. The car was built through Porsche’s exclusive Sonderwunsch personalization program and features around 30 bespoke modifications, with more than half being completely new developments. The owner, who already had three all-electric Taycan models, commissioned this fourth Taycan as a personalized version of Porsche’s most powerful electric sports sedan.
The project was developed with Porsche Centre Lugano and the Sonderwunsch team. The customer provided his own design vision inspired by the changing colors of Lake Lugano during sunrise and sunset. Porsche specialists transformed those golden and orange reflections into a complete exterior and interior theme.
The customization process included three meetings at Porsche’s Zuffenhausen headquarters and multiple discussions between the owner and designers. The result is a Taycan Turbo GT that combines extreme electric performance with luxury craftsmanship.
Exclusive Design And Bespoke Features
The biggest highlight of the vehicle is its Nordicgoldmetallic Paint to Sample finish, a warm metallic shade inspired by Porsche’s historic gold colors from the 1970s. The color was previously associated with models including the 911 and 914 and later returned on the 997-generation 911, 987-generation Boxster and Cayman, and Cayenne GTS.
The exterior features a Turbonite Porsche crest, high-gloss black mirror housings, B-pillars, and rear spoiler details. The car also gets 21-inch Turbo GT forged lightweight wheels with Satin Black paint, Satin Neodyme accents, Turbonite centre caps, and black finishing elements.
Inside, the cabin combines Black and Slate Grey Pepita fabric, Pebble Grey leather, and black Race-Tex materials. The interior includes Crayon stitching, Mojave Beige accents, embroidered “turbo GT” logos, and Neodyme-painted details on the gear selector, air vents, cupholders, and door handles.
Performance And Porsche’s Electric Future
The Taycan Turbo GT remains Porsche’s most powerful production model, producing up to 815 kW (1,108 PS) of peak output. It uses a silicon carbide pulse inverter on the rear axle for improved efficiency and performance.
Porsche reduced the car’s weight by up to 75 kilograms compared with the Taycan Turbo S through lightweight engineering and carbon-fibre components. The vehicle also comes with Porsche Active Ride suspension featuring GT-specific tuning.
This project highlights Porsche’s growing focus on electric vehicle personalization. Traditionally linked with exclusive 911 builds, the Sonderwunsch program now shows that EV models like the Taycan can also become highly collectible, handcrafted performance machines.
