How to Get the Vini Jr Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Before the Event Ends
Fortnite Vini Jr. Sprite is now officially in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 with the v41.20 update and Hot Bat Summer event. The new Mythic Sprite is one of the rarest collectibles in the game and is inspired by Brazilian football star Vinícius Júnior. The movement ability is powerful, allowing players to destroy structures, damage enemies, and temporarily boost weapon performance, so it’s a great addition to anyone’s Sprite arsenal.
How to Get the Fortnite Vini Jr. Sprite
Players can obtain the Vini Jr. Sprite Mostly from Sprite Chests, which have the highest chance of finding Mythic Sprites. It is also found in Rare Chests, also called Relic Chests, which are around named Points of Interest, boss locations, and vaults. With a low drop rate, players are encouraged to open as many Sprite Chests as possible or to farm during Sprite Power Hour events on weekends for a better chance to collect rare Sprites.
After the Sprite has been found, it must be extracted using an Extraction Site or a Portable Extractor to unlock it forever. Once added to your collection, it can be equipped before future matches and summoned again if lost.
Vini Jr. Sprite Ability and Latest Update
The Vini Jr. Sprite rewards aggressive gameplay. Players can sprint for a short time to trigger a damaging slide that destroys structures and injures enemies. Landing a successful slide kick temporarily increases weapon fire rate and reload speed. At Level 1, the Sprite deals 40 slide damage and grants a 10% fire rate boost, while Level 5 raises these bonuses to 80 damage and a 60% fire rate increase.
The July 16 v41.20 update also expanded Fortnite’s Sprite system. Dataminers uncovered 12 new Sprites in the game files, including Cube variants, the Pollo Sprite, and multiple Batman Sprite variants. While only Vini Jr., Batman, Pollo, Seven, and Air Sprites are currently obtainable, the remaining leaked Sprites are expected to arrive in future Fortnite events. The update increases the total Sprite roster in Chapter 7 Season 3 to 20 collectible Sprites, giving players more abilities and playstyles than ever before.
