Persona 4 Revival Character Trailer Reveals Returning Characters Before Launch
Atlus has kicked off a new wave of character focused promotion for Persona 4 Revival, giving fans a closer look at the remake ahead of its scheduled release. The first trailer, “Protagonist Sizzle,” spotlights the returning main character and confirms Nazeeh Tarsha as his English voice actor. The short video features new character animation, dialogue scenes and familiar interactions that align with the updated presentation of the remake. Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

And the protagonist won’t be returning to Inaba alone. There will be some familiar faces, including Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, Yukiko Amagi, and Marie, who have been officially confirmed. The group each play an important role in the story as they investigate the mysterious murders and supernatural events surrounding the Midnight Channel. The remake also brings back key locations such as the Central Shopping District, Junes department store, Samegawa Flood Plain, Shichiri Beach and the Amagi Inn.
Marie Returns Validating Major Golden Content
Among the more notable returning characters is Marie, who made her debut in Persona 4 Golden. Her appearance in Persona 4 Revival matters because it shows that the remake is incorporating at least some of the content from the expanded Golden version of the game. Previous footage showed the protagonist spending time with Marie, as well as scenes with Yosuke and other returning cast members, giving longtime players a better sense of the scope of the remake.
The Remake has a New English Voice Cast
Although the characters are familiar, Persona 4 Revival has new English voice actors for some of the main characters. The cast announcement includes Nazeeh Tarsha as the protagonist, Paul Castro Jr. as Yosuke Hanamura, Anne Yatco as Chie Satonaka, Brianna Knickerbocker as Yukiko Amagi and Ari Thrash as Marie. The new cast gives the remake an alternate vocal identity, but the personalities and relationships that made the original group so memorable still remain.
New gameplay: The investigation team is back
The remake is supposed to be more than just a visual upgrade. Gameplay footage has shown improved graphics, improved performance, and revamped presentation, but kept the basic structure of the original adventure. Players will once again investigate bizarre murders in rural Inaba, enter supernatural worlds, develop Persona abilities and fight alongside trusted friends. The more powerful visual presentation is intended to update the experience while maintaining its core mystery and character relationships recognisable.
