This institution has so far awarded around graduates, Post Graduates and Ph.D. Scholars in various disciplines, who have settled in versatile professions as dieticians, preschool managers, interior designers, apparel designers, community coordinators for development programmes etc, apart from university teachers and researchers. Among the list of self employment projects, Interior and exterior designing firms, apparel industry, voluntary organizations, day care centres, pre schools, food processing units, diet counselling centres etc are in practice. A vigorous research promoted completion of 50 ad-hoc projects, which resulted in fabrication of technologies and their extension to urban, rural and tribal communities all over the state.
Under the headship of Dean, there are Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors on rolls, positioned as Teachers in College of Home Science, Scientists in All India Coordinated Research (AICRP) and Subject Matter Specialists (SMS) in Krishi Vignyan Kendras (KVKs) and District Agricultural Advisory and transfer of technology Centres (DAATTCs). The Administrative Office is ideally located within the College campus, with adequate staff.
